Of course! Reducing oil dependency is great, but only one piece of a very large puzzle. As mentioned, EVs do and will have a place, but many people believe that switching to EVs will solve issues that are deeper and more complex than that. We need to advocate for multi-tiered solutions instead of looking for quick fixes (which can definitely be useful, but not robust).
